Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane components are made of high-strength PVDF material, and their membrane fibers have the following characteristics and advantages:
● A nominal pore size of 0.03μm can remove bacteria, viruses, and particulate matter, protecting downstream equipment and reverse osmosis systems.
● High-strength, chemical-resistant PVDF composite hollow fiber membrane ensures a longer service life of the membrane components.
● The hydrophilic PVDF fiber membrane is easy to clean and wet, maintaining excellent performance over the long term.
● The external pressure structure can withstand higher influent suspended solids concentration and reduce pretreatment processes.
● The use of U-PVC material for the membrane shell eliminates the need for expensive pressure vessels.
The HUF-2860 ultrafiltration membrane components are suitable for systems with a capacity greater than 50m³/hr (220gpm). The larger diameter membrane components (8 inches) have the largest effective membrane area among hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane products, allowing for more economical system design. Compared to longer membrane components, shorter membrane components (6 inches) provide higher separation efficiency and are suitable for a wider range of water quality.
