Overview
With SmarterMail 5.x Enterprise Edition and SmarterMail Sync, you are now able to provide your users with the feature-rich experience that users of email collaboration tools like Microsoft Exchange� are accustomed to seeing.

For those people that use Microsoft Outlook to manage their communications, it is often seen as a chore to use any kind of web-based email system to keep track of tasks, contacts, calendars, and other information. While there are certainly productivity gains in having such a web-based system, these gains can be offset by the duplication of effort in maintaining data in two locations, and synchronized on two different systems.

Using built-in features that are included with SmarterMail 5.x, SmarterMail Sync adds the ability to fully synchronize a user�s contacts, tasks and calendar events with complete support for categories.

Installing SmarterMail Sync

• The download link for SmarterMail Sync can be found in your SmarterMail web
• interface under Settings > SmarterMail Client Utilities
• select�the version that best suits you.
• After downloading, run the installer and simply follow the instructions provided.
• NOTE: Microsoft Outlook must be closed before installing SmarterMail Sync.
