Detailed Description

Modified atmosphere film is a kind of functional packaging material. It achieves the preservation and protection of packaged items by regulating the gas environment inside the package. It is widely used in the packaging fields of food, agricultural products, and some industrial products.
Working Principle
Modified atmosphere film has the characteristic of selective gas permeability. It allows different gases to pass through at specific rates. For example, it can let gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen enter and exit the package in a certain proportion. When packaging food, the modified atmosphere film can adjust the internal gas composition according to the characteristics of the packaged food. Generally, it reduces the oxygen content to inhibit the growth and reproduction of aerobic microorganisms and the oxidation reaction of food. It appropriately increases the carbon dioxide concentration to inhibit the growth of bacteria and regulate the respiration of food, thus extending the shelf life of food.
