Backlit channel letters are commonly known as illuminated channel letters with the lighting elements are visible behind the letter. It is also known as reverse lighted, backlit, or halo-lit. When the light been turned on, the lighting is visible around the letter borders, producing the “halo” appearance. The letter is a combination of three parts, the shell, the leds and power supply. For the shell, the face and return could be stainless steel / Aluminum, polished / brushed / electroplated / painted, the back could be Acrylic or PC, frosted.
